How to Make Delicious Falooda Dessert. Falooda Dessert is a cold and sweet beverage with many ingredients very popular in South Asia. Traditionally it is made by mixing rose syrup with vermicelli, basil (takmaria) seeds, jelly pieces along with milk and ice cream.
Ingredients:
- Falooda Vermicelli – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 glass
- Ice – 1 cup crushed
- Pineapple chunks – 1 cup
- Ice cream – 2 scoop
- Sugar syrup – ½ cup
- Cooked green jelly – ½ packet
- Cooked red jelly – ½ packet
- Kewra water – 1 tsp
- Basil seeds (soaked) – 1 tsp
- Rose syrup – 2 tbsp
- Almond & pistachio – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Take 2 tall glasses, add crushed ice, then falooda vermicelli, then milk, then green jelly cubes, then pineapple chunks, then sugar syrup, then soaked basil seeds, then red jelly cubes, then kewra water, then Rose syrup and ice cream.
- Lastly sprinkle with chopped almond and pistachios.
- Serve chilled.
